Founder and Executive Director of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), a non-profit research organization established in 1986. MAPS works closely with government regulatory authorities worldwide such as the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA) to ensure that all of its sponsored research protocols conform to ethical and procedural guidelines for clinical drug research. Doblin obtained a psychology degree from New College of Florida in 1987 and earned a doctorate in public policy from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University in 2001.
